Sweet poison.

I want to be free.

In a dance of love and pain, we sway,

Two hearts entwined, in a toxic way.

We yearn to break free, to flee the flame,

But like a moth, we're drawn back to the same.

Like a candle's glow, our love shines bright,

Yet burns our skin, with a sweet, sweet light.

We know we must let go, to escape the pain,

But like a addict, we crave the love in vain.

Our love's a poison, that we can't resist,

A sweet temptation, that we can't desist.

We're trapped in this cycle, of love and despair,

Unable to leave, without a single care.

Just like the candle, that burns our hand,

We hold on tight, to this toxic land.

For in its light, we find a fleeting peace,

A moment's solace, from the heart's release.

But oh, the cost, of this love so true,

Is a heart that's broken, and a soul that's blue.

Yet still we cling, to this love so strong,

A sweet pain, that keeps us holding on.
