The wildflower's sweet nectar they seek
these butterflies, bumble bees, and hummingbirds
A kaleidoscope of color against the golden hue of the creek
they dance a dance not meant for the meek
such a seductive story they tell
The wildflower's sweet nectar they seek
yellow jackets, dragonflies, and an occasional ladybug complete
a garden party amongst their peers, creating
A kaleidoscope of color against the golden hue of the creak
I watch in wonder when suddenly I am weak
as they gather the strength of their numbers
The wildflower's sweet nectar they seek
their beauty I could never compete
innocent of their splendor
The wildflower's sweet nectar they seek
A Kaleidoscope of color against the golden hue of the creek

Wildflowers are so beautiful, i compete with the bees to pick them in Summer. Such a sunny poem with beautiful imaginings of nature.
Your portrayal of watching in wonder and feeling a sense of awe and humility in the face of nature's beauty is palpable.
This was so evocative! Loved your beautiful poem!
