Sweet mother,
I cannot forget you,
for all the suffering you endured for me.
When I would cry, you were there to carry me,
Sang me a lullaby
saying baby don't you cry again.
And when I was down,
Your smile always picked me up,
You always said;
It will all be fine with time,
Times and seasons are part of Gods plan.
Sweet mother,
I cannot forget you,
For all the labor you went through for me.
The long days and long nights,
The lunch packs and activities after class,
Made sure I had a life,
You gave up yours for me.
