Prey Upon Prey

we falter in the rush,

time, eclipsed in moments of contempt!

without warning, prey becomes prey,

fury takes charge, leaping thru the gate,

bursting into stride,

flawlessly encroaching the unsuspecting

contact initiates the struggle,

separation eludes the weak!!

the strong survives,

the strong feasts, the cycle complete, life continues,

baron are the remains of the weak,

charring in the blazing sun,

rotting with time, garnished by the vultures,

leaving skeletal remnants as an only reminder,

we falter no more, nothing remains outside of time, time for the strong,

the weak is forgotten,

the weak has succumbed,

the weak has strengthened the strong!

Charles Darwin, survival of the fittest, the weak succumb, the strong survive. Actually wrote this long ago, dug it up this morning with hopes of getting back to some Vocal focal, 😂, hope you enjoyed. Be a survivor, life is precious, fight for it. Thank you for reading!!
