Surprising Love

It came like whispers on the breeze, A sudden joy, a quiet tease. Without a sign, without a clue, Surprising love, it found us true. In moments small, in glances shy, We met, and sparks lit up the sky. A touch, a word, then hearts entwined, In you, a love I didn't mind. It bloomed so fast, without a sound, A precious gift that we had found. No plan, no path, no charted way, Just love that grew with each new day. Surprising love, so wild, so sweet, In you, my heart found its retreat. An unexpected, gentle fall, And now with you, I have it all.
