A Reflection on Calm and Contemplation

Sunday morning, a time to rest,

To ease the mind and soothe the chest.

The world outside seems still asleep,

As sunlight filters through the trees, so deep.

*

The morning dew, it glistens bright,

A gentle breeze, a welcome sight.

Birds chirping, a peaceful sound,

Echoing through the air, all around.

*

The coffee brews, its aroma strong,

A moment to pause, and right any wrongs.

To read a book, or watch the news,

Or simply bask in the morning's hues.

*

No rush, no hurry, no deadlines to meet,

Just time to savor life's sweetest treat.

To reflect on the week that has passed,

And make plans for the days to last.

*

Sunday morning, a day to unwind,

To calm the soul and clear the mind.

A moment of peace, a moment of grace,

A time to simply be, in this tranquil space.
