Tyger, Tyger, burning bright
Through all hours of the night
I don’t wish to be that guy,
But it’s 4 am, you realise?

And in what distant deeps or skies
Could you think it be civilised
To be blasting Skrillex and Deadmau5
While living in a terraced house?

Now trust me, I don’t wish to grumble -
And I do appreciate your love for jungle -
But some of us have early stars,
And lack your love for house and dance.

What’s that you say?
Come round tonight?
You think I may be too
Uptight?

No thanks, I’ll pass - not to be rude -
I’m just hardly in the dancing mood

(And I haven’t yet forgiven you
for the PTSD
I have from the one weekend
when you came round for tea).
