Summers Love

I turned that corner, and there you were.

As marvelous as the warm air and golden light on a summers day.

You stood there, like mother Teresa, a beautiful creature who walked the earth.

There was nothing to say, startled as I was, an expression of surprise that crawled on my face.

And after that, I thought of you all summer long.

Day after day, I searched and wondered,

What made you tick? Because all I wanted, was to be by your side.

Before I knew it, slower than the sun goes down-

My heart drew towards you, like a magnet of opposite sides.

I’ll make a vow, to claim whats in my heart.

To find your name, and some day, make you mine.

But this is only till the end of summer.

Because after this, anything can happen.

So I wish you well, for I am on my way.
