An Ode to a Blissful Day

Summer's Splendor

Golden sun beats down on the land,
Warming every inch of sand,
The morning dew has long since gone,
As nature's creatures start to yawn.

Summer days are filled with wonder,
Where nature's splendor is not a blunder,
The vibrant green of leaves and grass,
Contrasting hues that all will pass.

The sky a crystal clear blue,
A perfect day, nothing askew,
The sun, a golden orb on high,
Bringing warmth and light to each and every sky.

A butterfly flits from flower to flower,
Its wings so delicate, no greater power,
A symphony of buzzing bees,
Drifting through the air with ease.

The scent of roses fills the air,
Their beauty beyond compare,
Their petals soft as satin sheets,
In colors ranging from pale to deep.

Filled with warmth, no need to retreat,
Splashing in cool waters to beat the heat,
Each moment is a perfect treat.

As the day begins to wane,
The golden sun begins to wane,
It dips behind the horizon with grace,
Leaving the sky to its starry embrace.

But even as night takes the stage,
Summer's splendor lingers, a never-ending page,
Filled with joy and peace and light,
A perfect day, what a beautiful sight.
