Such a Pretty Kitty

Doodles and Ditties Unofficial Challenge

By Angie the Archivist 📚🪶Published 4 months ago • Updated 4 months ago • 1 min read

There once was a kitty called Mia

She was ever so pretty and dear

She could say her own name

Played many a game

That cute little kitty called Mia.

*

At first she lived in the yard with snakes

Then wormed her way inside with cream cakes

Had a great big warm heart

She was clever and smart

And loved eating yoghurt and cheese cakes.

*

Each day, Mia would play Hide and Seek

We’d look here and there; hope for a squeak,

Suddenly, we’d think!

She’s in the kitchen sink!

Our Queen of Hearts loved to play Hide and Seek.

*

She had a doggy brother, Hudson

Watched him peer through the door so sudden

Give her face a wet lick

Gobble his food real quick

She adored her big brother Hudson.

*

Mia’s life was flat out, that’s clear

She dozed, played and ate, then cleaned each ear

Played tiggy with field mice

Set them free, once or twice

Life sure wasn’t boring with Mia.

*

Every home needs a pet or seven

A kitten or puppy called Kevin

To chase, cuddle and kiss

Fill hearts and lives with bliss

Pets are a tiny taste of heaven.

*

Inspired by our cute kitty, Mia and written for Sarah Wilson’s challenge below.

Sadly, Mia’s parting tail tale!
