Some rose up fast
Others took on a slower pace
The dice was cast
Some were holding onto an ace
Degrees meant little or much
They would grow and brag
Their lack of experience was often a crutch
None of them wanted to be a drag
Their yearly salary was their chief focus
The taller the better
Most of them really were bogus
None wanted to be stuck as a debtor
Competitively they climbed higher
To have the nicest of everything
They wanted to transpire
To buy the biggest diamond ring
Blowing in the wind for all to see
Having the best career
This is what it means to be free
Living lavishly without any fear
They are loud and proud
This is what they pushed us to be
Success draws a following crowd
And from this life we cannot flee
