Symphonies Sing

Inside an intrepid mind

Limericks and lyrics smothered by laundry and lunches

Endless teetering tasks fill pages instead of poems

Now, suns set, and moons rise

Cantankerous pulsing headaches replace frivolous thoughts

Eyes close, and oblivion’s reprieve silently, thankfully, embraces
