Strings combined in humming vibration

Make a union in summation

The fabric of a sounded nation

And strings in melodic intonation

How curious it seemingly is

That lines of cord going all a fizz

Can when then tuned right make all the biz

As they harmonize perfect order

So many such forms that these strings can take

Cellos or violins to make your heart quake

Guitars and harps then to make your heart break

On the emotional notes you partake

Endless seas of affection to be had

Whether you then are feeling great or sad

Or caught in a mood bad or even glad

Waiting for the next movement to begin

What do we do with our marvelous strings

Which when are played together always sings

Carry me strings on your beautiful wings

To the place of all of God's ordered things

Stare across the world and deeply see

The castle of tone where I flee

So that I can then be deeply free

From the harsh sounds of daily life

Into a storm of sound away from strife

Escape the strife as it becomes so rife

Away from discord as it heavy springs

Back into the world of beautiful strings
