Sometimes, when we're hurting, we find a strange kind of peace. There's a bizarre comfort in the pain we feel. We might even start craving the love that caused us nothing but suffering. Maybe it's because we miss what could have been. We're confused: Are we addicted to being sad? Do we actually enjoy it? It's all so mixed up, and we're stuck in this place where we want you back, yet we're torn between missing you and never thinking about you again.
