Stoneyhearted Symphony

A short Poem

stonyhearted symphony
Just a pebble where a rock use to be
Makes it all go more easily

Worn, not torn down
not yet washed away
staying as a stonyhearted symphony

Base like a storm
rhythm made of waves
shake warning of a quiet rattle
mixed with a howl of man's best friend
which bends to a gallop of running away

A stonyhearted symphony
Just a pebble where a rock use to be
Makes it all go more easily

Years transformed
Seen in the face
prior beauty erased but still existing in it's place

Unaware of the compositional change
taking place, underneath
A belief known to be expected of

A stonyhearted symphony
Just a pebble where a rock use to be
Makes it all go more easily

Fading away slowly
Almost unrecognizably
unreliably measured by memory

Eventually gone but existing like space
Remnants nothing more than ghosts
sediments settled as dust
mixed with all the finite
To reunite in a wordly file system

A stonyhearted symphony
Just a pebble where a rock use to be
Makes it all go more easily
