The still stars—

Though they aren’t so still—

They travel from far, their light already gone.

Just their memory left to keep driving on,

Forward

Towards

us.

But not

for us,

for any

who see,

For any destined to be,

For we won from one in a million

To be here

under the memory

Of still stars

From further,

More fragrant

galaxies.
