Seeing myself like a newborn child

Unworthy of a thousand-year-old tree's root

Roots delve deep to the very source

Thriving into the Thung Nham mountains

The story of the stork that once lulled me to sleep

Now has become a timeless legend

Our forefathers have turned into prominent mountains and rivers

Becoming the grove of Dinh Bo Linh, driving out foreign invaders...

Our nation's history has had its ups and downs

From a subservient people to a disrupted meal

Thanks to the Lac Hong blood, the golden liver, and the iron gall

Now sitting on the golden throne in the shape of a heart

With millions of people like double-flowering spring trees

Holding hands, moving forward to open the future

Who has set foot in the fairy tale garden

Dreams turning into emerald luck among a thousand trees

Walking in the fairy tale garden today

Seeing the dewdrops still sparkling

Imprinting the shadow of our forefathers' strength onto us

With faith to overcome all the trials of time...
