staying in love, maybe

The brain releases a good high

The body tingles when being touched

The skin goosebumps from whispers

The lips caress a cocoon of cherry chapstick

The teeth chatter about fantasies

The shoulders relax with ease

The arms stretch out for a squeeze

The nipple stands up with affirmation

The belly butterflies with anticipation

The soul dances inside a shell

The hands reach to grasp skin

The knees snuggle the ground

The thighs quiver with lust

The feet sweep away from the floor

The toes curl with excitement

The mind thinks there’s something better…

no --

there isn’t.
