Leaking from the box I keep locked
Your tendrils thread like a virus
Through my veins and seep into my bones
You’re not supposed to be here anymore
Crowding out my thoughts so I’ll miss you again
You make me remember our quiet sweetness
Until the poisoned pain leeches from my soul
You left
So why can’t you stay gone
