STARTING OVER

Silence is golden

 /\/\/\

 He spoke not a word

When she opened the door.

His world being torn in two.

His eyes filled with tears

When she uttered the words:

“I’m no longer in love with you.”

They were both very young

When they became man and wife,

Their future theirs to behold.

As she became very tired

While doing everything required,

She never noticed his love turned cold.

She was lonely and sad

Each day while he was gone

Thinking he worked hard every day.

Until each little clue

Told a new story:

His work was actually PLAY.

She made up her mind

That her only solution

Was to begin her life once again.

Though her husband now cried

She still filed for divorce

Then married her lawyer named Ben.
