Star-rattlers
For the people who feel like home.

Fate reminds me of the tides
being pulled by the moon — shifting and growing
yet never changing
pushing us gently towards our destiny.
Towards people who are a reminder
that the world will be remade
by those who dare to hope —
the dreamers, the doers, the star-rattlers.
People who remind me of starlight and moonbeams
softly shining light on the beautiful parts of you
and the parts you believed weren’t worth anything at all.
People who feel like home,
like a safe place to land and rest your wings
before they tell you it’s time to soar to new heights —
ones you didn’t know you could reach
until you do, launched by their hands.
