we are bombarded with on screen romances
enemies to lovers
friends to lovers
destined lovers
it really raises expectations
thinking love conquers all
the highs and lows
the near tragedies
the miraculous reunions
all only strengthens the bond
who doesn't want an epic love
Do we wait for the meet cute
Do we go out and make love happen
Is love supposed to be easy
or is love worth fighting for
We're being told we are incomplete
be your own soul mate
whatever happens after that, is extra
