Standing Tall in the Dark

A Journey of Unwavering Strength

By FranklinPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
Standing Tall

In the stillness where shadows creep,

A whisper stirs from the depths of sleep,

The world around is soft with fear,

Yet here I stand, and I draw near.

The night wraps close, a cloak so tight,

But I hold fast with all my might.

A tremor rises, cold and sharp,

Yet I remain a steady spark.

No light to guide, no path to see,

Yet courage blooms within me free.

With every step, I feel the weight,

Yet still I rise to face my fate.

The dark may roar, the winds may howl,

But I won’t bend, I won’t throw down.

For in the silence, strength is found—

A heartbeat strong, a steady ground.

Each breath a challenge, fierce and true,

I stand tall, though shadows brew.

In the quiet, I break the chain,

A soul unbroken, free from pain.

The dark may linger, long and deep,

But in this moment, I won’t weep.

For standing tall, I’ve come to see—

The darkness is no match for me.
