Stalker

I could feel your eyes on me.

The hairs on the nape of my neck stood from end to end.

I turned around very slowly,

Only to find that there was nobody behind me.

It was just myself and the lone street lamp to keep me company.

But still I felt a strange sensation overcome my body.

Something that I couldn't quite put my finger on to say the least.

I was being watched.

I clutched my keys for safety.

Just in case.

A hunter stalks their prey before making an attack.

I loved her.

Er well,

Lusted after her would be a better way of putting it.

I couldn't explain it.

This was the woman of most men's dreams.

I couldn't shake the feeling she was meant to be mine.

Look at the way the wind whips her curls around in a tornado like fashion.

The way the street lamp made her red hair sparkle like firecrackers.

I had to make her mine.

I took a photo.

And another.

And yet another.

Just to add to my collection of things.

I could not imagine a better prize than this one.
