This silence is so deafening

The darkness is so threatening

*

My mind so full of ruminations

There’s just no peace for contemplation

My soul is filled with desperation

I have no source of inspiration

*

My qi has become stagnated

This storm will not be abated

*

My heart is so full of bitterness

The world is so full of senselessness

People displaying such mindlessness

Searching to fill up the emptiness

*

I wish no longer to pretend

That I don’t yearn for it to end

*

I cannot deny the temptation

I feel so close to suffocation

I have no time for meditation

There's no hope of remediation

*

My qi has become stagnated

This storm will not be abated

*

Exhausted by my own breathlessness

So tired of all the restlessness

This world is so full of fearfulness

And people given to helplessness

*

This silence is so deafening

The darkness is so threatening

*
