Fly high
Through the early morning sunlight hue,
With just you, the seagull and petals so few,
Such a courageous moment of free and love,
The release of all that’s been jarred up in hugs,
On to the sea, through the currents and around,
To be with you always, near or far, surrounding forever it’s true, the thought of you.
To fly high with the stars, to sparkle in the dark,
To be there on the cold winter nights, the light spring mornings listening to skylarks,
To be there in the mid summer heat, and cosy Sunday morning croissant eating meets,
Surrounding forever, here in our hearts, souls flying up, up and above, dancing like fairy sprites in glitter dresses, delicate and almost unnoticeable - the glimpse of a rainbow, the tint on the gowns, the smell of cut grass,
All so glorious of nature to bring us in moments of despair; the dew drops in sunlight; the rays bursting through clouds, the angels coming down to see us; the clues most miss of the magic they bring back down.
