He approached her

With a heart full of desire

He kissed her

His eyes filled with fire,

He carried her

And took her to the best scenery

He told her

Their lives should designate greenery

He promised her

He would marry all that she is

He assured her

She's all that gives bliss

Then he knelt down and asked:

‘Will u make me whole my love?’

Suddenly for air she gasped

As she basked in his soulful words

She looked at him with a smile

And screamed ‘yes!’

Then away she ran for a mile

As he hears her resounding yes

Fading away slowly into the dourest night

For excitement led her to a tarrying sleep

That denied her closed eyes the morning light

Days passed as friends and family came to weep.

And today, all He can remember is

‘A resounding yes and a beaming smile!’
