Song Poem.
___By Aranna Hasan Delwar.
You came by pouring rain,
You, drenched in rain, were exquisite.
You left by pouring rain,
Today, tears rain down from my eyes.
What kind of love breaks the heart,
Gradually, everything decays.
Yet love survives in the fire of separation,
Finding joy in its own burning.
The sky is covered with mist,
Today, tears rain down from my eyes.
Happiness remains as a memory within,
Occasionally, the tune of sorrow plays,
Yet love survives deep in the heart,
Covering every bit of the mind’s courtyard.
Hope lives in a dormant state,
Today, tears rain down from my eyes.
