I don’t know how to get there but I’ll get there.

I’ll be there when I can.

I can’t see it but I’ll see it.

A destination only I can get too.

I wander around in the dark a lot.

But I’ll get there.

A place where the light beams for me.

A place where I can see all that I’ve always been.

I don’t know when I’ll get there but I will.

For the dark can only hold onto me for so long.

Until I get tired enough to see the open space in between the rocks.

The space scares me sometimes cause I don’t know how to fill it.

Maybe that’s where my darkness truly lies.

I don’t want to be enamored with the darkness anymore.

Yet, it’s almost all I’ve ever known.

It has so many stories to tell.

Stories that want to be heard.

I don’t want to tell that story anymore.

So, I’ll go where the wind blows down the river and look in between the rocks.

Maybe they’ll be there waiting for me to carry me home.
