Something New

This feeling is something new, surrounding me, lifting me up, filling my lungs, an entirely new sensation but in my heart, it feels true. The purest feeling I've ever possibly felt like I'm floating in the air being lifted by the belt.

I don't know what to call it, happiness, content, maybe love? But I can tell from this feeling, that it fits like a glove. A glove I've been waiting to find my whole life, to help me fight off this pain, the anguish, the strife but now I'm wearing it and I just know it's right.

There's no need to fight, who are you throwing hands with? Loosen up the arms there's no reason for you to stand stiff, so now I shift. Shift my focus and my aim, I started looking at this as a journey, not just a simple game and that's okay.

Life is all about growth, learning from experiences, and watching how it flows. We all glow, our little lights all inside. Burning bright, burning strong, flames wash over us like a raging tide. Let it consume us, ride the wave till it dies, let it bring me to the peace of my innermost mind.

So what is this feeling, this feeling so new to me? Is it love? Is it peace? or is it self-harmony? It burns like fire but, I never catch a flame, rages like a tide and I always ride the wave. Is it possible that this feeling was never trying to hide, maybe it was buried by the anger that was once inside. Now it's come out, let itself run free.

Because I know this new feeling is all the love I have for me.
