From not needing to worry
To being scared
From days of laying out
To the days of the tanning bed
Fast forward to plain white
When I wanted to look healthy
Instead
Wearing full clothes
Attempting make-up
Like when I used to be a pro
But I have lost my touch
But you obviously don’t love me
That much
If you don’t like the real me
Sure I miss having a man
I could plaster my face
But at night in bed
He’d see my real face
What would you do
Just be yourself
Or just say
Take someone in my place
