Somedays, when I'm lazy, when I'm free,
and when there's not a better place to be,
I lie on bed, with eyes closed,
and the hundreds of memories unfold.
.
Of the days from past, sweet and sour,
of the days now gone and seem so far.
I dream about you when I shut my eyes,
broken heart patched up with broken lies.
.
.
Somedays, when I'm lazy, when I'm free,
and when there's not a better place to be,
I watch the sky, look at the moon,
and the night passes by so soon.
.
Dawn breaks out, the sky reminds of you,
the way you used to smile admiring the hue.
I smile at the Sun, us with similar fates,
after each bright day, dark night waits.
.
.
Somedays, when I'm lazy, when I'm free,
and when there's not a better place to be,
I find myself, looking at you,
letting go reality to live in déjà vu.
.
Everything comes back, like an album flipped,
remembering moments we together lived,
They all seem to be from a different Earth,
one where remembering you didn't hurt.
.
.
Somedays, when I'm lazy, when I'm free,
and when there's not a better place to be,
I pay a visit, to stay with you,
sitting silently, watching the view.
.
Rows and rows of smooth grey cold stone,
and I the only one breathing all alone.
When it's time to go, I leave you a gift,
The bright yellow tulips you loved when you lived.
