Some Days I Just Cannot Write A Word

There are days when I don’t write. Some days I need a rest. Some days my mind is empty. I always feel I am not good enough even though people continually tell me I am.

So I challenged myself to write a villanelle about not writing.

This is to give me a break from putting together my first book of poetry which I uploaded to Amazon and then pulled because I decided it was only adequate but will probably be on sale by the time this is published.

If I Do Not Write, I Won’t Be Heard
