you are supercharged
to fuel that smile
did you take power from a star?
finally
an endless supply of
inspiration
we will change the world
together or apart
knowledge bequeathed
by your winter fire and
somber eyes
I see no matter what
I hope you don't mind
that I use this supply
of love for you
to change the tide
in minds and hearts
somehow the air I breathe
is the air you breathe
even though I'm not next to you
the wind upon your face
caresses my face too
its music through tree leaves
in your backyard
stream in my heart
