Solitude, my dearest Solitude
I opened my tired arms to you, welcomed your unspoken promise of peace and tranquility,
longed for your quiet embrace, believing that you, and you alone, could save me.
Easy. Easy, dear Solitude. How easy it was for you to fool me. Trapped, like a hamster in a cage, round and round and round I go on your nauseating wheel of deception.
No way to slow the whirling torment you’ve planted in my thoughts. No way to quell the
chaotic screams festering in the endless unheard. Oh, you wicked, wicked Solitude.
Eradicate yourself from the darkened hollows of my mind and set me free.
