Solitude

Amidst the quiet calm of my solitude,

I find peace in the stillness of my mind.

No need for noise or any interlude,

The silence here is one of a kind.

I'm not lonely in this quiet space,

But rather bask in the serenity.

In this moment, I find my grace,

And all the noise of the world fades into obscurity.

My heart finds solace in the absolute,

Of being unencumbered and alone.

And though at times it may feel like a pursuit,

This solitude reminds me of a truth unknown.

For in this stillness I find my voice,

And in my thoughts, I choose my way.

This moment I cherish as I have no choice,

But for in solitude, I find solace for each day.
