The lovers diverse

as duo sunbathes

in the new moon

Soleil you’re a timeless romantic,

never hopeless

Samson reveals

the love you bring to the table;

a woman would never go hungry

Soleil expresses

Prosperity is nevermore

than she can chew

Samson divulges

sobremesa fluye como el agua

(over the table chat flows like water)

May you always

set a plate for love dingleberry

Soleil don’t stick a dinglehopper, through my soul

As we polish off our meal

Soleil don’t bite your tongue,

chew over guesswork

sobremesa fluye como el agua

(over the table chat flows like water)

Bask in conversations

never spread thin

blame is never passed,

never tire of our abode...

NOT a single

“I told you so”

Joyless sounds never

leaves your lips

You’re cheery disposition

slips through my fingers

like sunbeams

Like artichoke hearts

I cherish all you’re essence

wide-set,

rounded convictions

as the coefficient of friction

Soleil remains

the yolk of my sun...
