Soap
For the stains of hate, anger, and fear, Are not so easily wiped clear, They linger on, refusing to budge, Resisting the power of soap's gentle nudge.
Soap, a wonder of our time,
A tool to keep our bodies clean and prime.
With lather and bubbles, it does its part,
To scrub away the grime and dirt on our hearts.
But , there's one thing it cannot do,
No matter how hard we scrub, it's true,
A dirt that's hidden in our soul and mind,
Is not something a soap can find.
For the stains of hate, anger, and fear,
Are not so easily wiped clear,
They linger on, refusing to budge,
Resisting the power of soap's gentle nudge.
It's only with love, empathy, and grace,
That we can scrub away this deeper place,
For kindness is the soap that cleanses best,
And washes away the grime within our chest.
So let us not rely on soap alone,
To make us pure, to make us known,
For it's the goodness in our hearts and minds,
That truly cleanses, and truly shines

Oh my..., that's so clever and beautifully expressed! Such a moving poem about soap, but to be fair, we probably wouldn't be here (at least nowhere near so many of us) without soap would we?
I was struck by the powerful metaphor of soap as a tool for physical and emotional cleansing, and appreciated the message that true purity and goodness comes from within.👌👌💕
