So Many Questions

… at the same time being and becoming

At the same time being and becoming;

letting go of now.

It's the whistle while you're humming

with the puzzlement of how.

.

To be the parent of tomorrow

and the child of today.

It's the sentiment of sorrow

that promises to stay.

.

To be oneself, to find contentment

knowing nothing will endure.

To struggle with resentment,

to be safe but not secure.

.

In a parallel dimension do we still exist?

Do archived remnants of ourselves persist?

.

About the Creator

Tim Grace

A first impression has a lasting effect - it makes a notable difference. In a subtle way that’s who I am as a poet. A ‘first impression’ looking for the gentle ‘twist’ that draws attention to a novel observation.
