Snug Little Bug

A poem.

By Kristina BrulePublished about a year ago • 1 min read

When the stars shine and the crickets sing, the moon awakens.

The flowers sleep and the animals snore.

When the neighbors rest and dream of their better lives.

Here I lie thinking of you.

Here I cry dreaming of your touch, your voice and your love.

Pondering how your heart beats when

My heart screams to be by your side.

Sleep tight little bug

I’ll pretend to be snug.
