Smooth Symphony

A Poem of Tactile Delights

By Ivonne ManningPublished 8 months ago 1 min read
Smooth Tough

In a realm where touch reigns supreme,

Where textures dance and senses gleam,

There lies a world of smooth delight,

A symphony of tactile might.

Imagine a pebble, river-kissed,

Its roughened edges gently missed,

Transformed by time's relentless flow,

To smoothness that the heart does know.

Or picture a quilt, a childhood friend,

Where softness whispers stories without end,

A haven where the soul can rest,

In smooth embrace, truly blessed.

And what of antique wood, so grand,

Polished by time's unseen hand,

Its patina, a story told,

In smoothness that makes the heart unfold.

Oh, smooth, you are a magic art,

A gentle touch that sets apart,

A world where textures softly blend,

And grace and elegance transcend.
