The value of respect is immeasurable,
A treasure of inestimable worth,
In its practice, our lives are full
Of joy, a fluid and harmonious swirl.

It may not come with ease, yet we must feed
Our respect to others, a vital deed.

When respect is shown, security grows,
A reciprocal gift of peace and calm,
Even amidst stress, it still glows,
A key to unity, weathering life's storm.

Respect is the binding force of society,
A communal fabric, a brighter future wrought,
It demands effort, a steadfast loyalty,
To maintain a harmonious equilibrium sought.

Respect can be found in all walks of life,
A goal to strive for, to attain,
So take pride in your role in this grand strife,
By respecting others with a sincere refrain.

INTRODUCTION Prompted: #3 is over and done with. There were a total of 7 entries for this challenge, just like with Prompted #2. That was a bit surprising, considering this was a poetry challenge. The first poetry challenge garnered much more attention. Of course, one way to look at the drop in participation is that Vocal writers are not fans of the rondel.
