Heady, potent.

(inhale)
~
Your syrup
Lines my throat,
~
(exhale)
~
As the taste
Lingers
On my tongue.
~
(inhale)
~
My fingers,
Like pushpins
On a map,
Where you've been.
~
(exhale)
~
Your presence felt.
~
(in too deep)
~
Let's spend
The rest of our days,
Treading those familiar
Pathways.
~
(not deep enough)
~
On each other's
Bodies,
Like a favourite hiking trail,
Where the seeing scents
Of pine, moist grass, and snowdrops
Fills me with joy,
~
(in too deep)
~
Like your own warm,
Moist and thick aroma.
~
(not deep enough)
~
Trace the lines —
That sparkle under lowlight —
Glistening, slick.
~
(inhale)
~
Watching as you
Take your own trip,
With lips and fingers,
Swallowing whole
The fragrant
Landmark,
Monument
Of my lust.
~
(exhale)
~
Passion explored,
Desire never fully
Conquered.
