His skin feels just like butter

I swear it’s not the same

I would do anything to see you again

They say I must do better

It’s just a fantasy

But I would do anything to see you again

He’s not you

But I want him to do all the things that you do for me

Am I delusional

A fool

To demand to change the rules

Unlike you

Take one step closer

Push me away

Distance your lover

Just to save face

His skin feels just like butter

I swear it’s not the same.

I would do anything to see you again

They say I must do better

It’s just a fantasy

But I would do anything to see you again

Take me for hostage

That’s what you wanted

And I don’t mind

Blame me or the unborn child

Guilt you to stay awhile

Soul ties are fowl

His skin feels just like butter

I swear it’s not the same

I would do anything to see you again

I know I must do better

I’m just your fantasy

But I would do anything to see you again

heartbreak

This was so heartbreaking. Your repeating lines made it more intense. Loved your poem!
