Sister Moms

A tribute to the sibling parent.

On the day that we remember moms, we have to make a conscious effort to remember all the sister moms.

Sometimes annoying, but loving by the pound. They play the role of mother when mama’s not around.

They wake us in the morning for school to get us ready. At night they’re cooking for everyone getting dinner ready.

Sometimes a power driven maniac who makes us shout, or a big disciplinarian who knocks us out.

What more do you expect from the ones who watch the little sisters and brothers and end up becoming the sister mothers.

After years of having fun on that temporary throne, sister moms end up having children of their own.

She’ll be keeping them in shape with her mommy tools. Also driving them super crazy with mommy rules.

Creating crazy inside their heads, we’re just preparing them for the motherhood that lies ahead.

In light of all the chaos that they may know from us, we still appreciate all the love they show for us.

When making sure not to forget our moms. Remember their second in command and don’t forget the sister moms.

At times we pout and over shout them. Nevertheless, life wouldn’t be as fun without them.

-Dedicated to the big sisters who had to play the role of mother at a young age.
