Siren's Song

Siren's seductive, singing sound,

Soulful, sultry, soothing around,

Seafaring sailors, succumb, surround,

Softly swaying, siren's bound.

Sea's serene, silence breaks,

Siren's song, souls it takes,

Seductively, sailor shakes,

Sorrowful, siren's heart aches.

Siren's spell, sea's demise,

Sailor's soul, siren's prize,

Siren's sorrow, never wise,

Soulful, siren's song demise.

Siren's sweet, sonorous voice,

Sailing ships, siren's choice,

Sorrowful, sailors rejoice,

Siren's song, seductive noise.

Siren's sound, sea's symphony,

Sorrowful, sailor's destiny,

Soulful, siren's fantasy,

Siren's song, serenity.

This type of Poetry is known as Tautogram poetry; a type of poetry where all the words in each line or stanza start with the same letter. The first letter of each word is called the "key letter" or "initial letter." The key letter is usually repeated throughout the poem to create a cohesive and harmonious effect.
