As she grins and moans in rehearsed abandon

My pupils dilate as I fixate—entranced

As my hand reaches down—soft-on-hard flesh-on-flesh

The sweat, the musk, and saltiness hit my lungs

As I swallow the bitter aftertaste of regret.
