Simpler times
A longing for days gone by in a world dominated by technology
A young woman born in '98
Watches the world change with time
Technology booming all around
But simpler days, she yearns to find
Smartphones, TVs, screens galore
They rule our lives, forever more
But she dreams of days gone by
When life was simpler, less awry
No constant pings, no endless scroll
No screens to dominate and control
Just nature's beauty, pure and true
And time for her thoughts to come through
But though she longs for simpler days
She knows that change is here to stay
So she finds solace in small things
In nature's peace, she studies birds’ wings
She'll take a break from screens and noise
And find tranquility in simple joys
For though the world may change and shift
She'll always hold dear to the simpler gifts
