In the shadows of a loveless bond,

Where hearts are cold and dreams abscond.

I see my parents, trapped in chains,

Their souls adrift in endless plains.

Their arranged marriage, a bitter pill,

With no spark of love, no joy to fill.

They stumble through life, hand in hand,

But the warmth of affection, they cannot withstand.

Each day a battle, each word a blow,

Verbal abuse like an endless flow.

Their spirits crushed, their voices lost,

In the suffocating silence, their dreams exhaust.

I watch in silence, my heart aching,

As their loveless union leaves hearts breaking.

For life is meant for love to thrive,

But in their world, it's hard to survive.

Yet amidst the darkness, a glimmer of hope,

A longing for freedom, a way to cope.

For even in the depths of despair,

There's strength to rise, to repair.

So I pray for light to pierce the gloom,

To shatter the darkness, to lift the doom.

For love may be lost, but it can be found,

In the echoes of hope, in the hearts unbound.
