Silent Night

Stillness of the dark

By Inkstoryy_blogPublished about a year ago 1 min read

When it goes dark and quiet can you hear the stillness, can you see the beauty as the wind moves slowly and as the dews settle on the leaves of the blooming flowers. Does the nighttime remind you of your own memories, help you sleep or impose an instant meditation?

Silent Night

Moments of abysmal silence

Darkness assembles light's affluence

The crescent moon glisten

Frogs croaks in dark humidity

Several minutes of rumpled tranquility

Call of a mating fate, the fox cries

Waterdrops from dew's eyes

Stars diminish in its height

Surface of the deep sleeps

Valley cold and steep

Sheer grace of fading dark

As the skyline says goodnight
